I come on the weekdays for a run, upkeep is fair, path could use some love with new gravel.
Edited: The focus seems to be on some really questionable hardscape additions instead of fixing gravel on the paths, garbage cans and more trees/foliage to separate the space between the new homes put right up on the property line. Starting to lose its cute little town charm.
Edit 2, because I still enjoy coming here: when they empty out the new cheap garbage cans or do ANY work, they just park directly in the middle of the walkway with their full size trucks. The new neighborhood next door is still flooding the back walkway and I haven't seen a single attempt to fix that.
It's sad to see emerson expanding so rapidly and taking down massive forests in the process. This park is definitely being affected by that. There seems to be no direction in preparation for the soon influx...
Read moreGood walking trail that is well maintained all the way around the perimeter. 3 ball park, 4 soccer fields, and a football field give you plenty of room to play in. They also have a tennis court and bathrooms. It is right next to the police station so it is very safe no matter what time of day you go. The kids playground is small but nice.
