Aaron's Rent To Own — Attraction in Evanston

I am over Aaron's financial team. My payment was due yesterday, and I am planning on paying it Friday after I get paid. However, I have received a text message and email on Monday reminding me of my payment due. Yesterday, (the 15th) I received another text message and email regarding my payment. And today (the 16th) I have received a text message, email and a phone call telling me that I am late. This is not the first time this has happened. They called my work and I told them not too be calling my work, and I was told that they will call it regardless of what I say. I told them that they should review the current laws on collections because they do not follow them, and they are leaning towards harassment. I was thinking of getting a other home furniture from them, but no more. I would return my washer and dryer, but I need them at this time. Then again, I may rethink that. I've been a faithful customer for years 2 couch sets a washer and dryer set, complete bedroom set a 55" TV and my refrigerator all came from this place. That being said it's gone to hell with the new manager she is rude and definitely doesn't take care of her responsibility when it comes to broken items. I went from being a valued customer to a customer that gets told lies over and over. All over a simple repair but this has definitely been the worst experience with this store .. sure miss the customer service, appreciation and devotion. I won't be opening any new lease...

A lot of people complain about how expensive the leasing fees are... and they are right. The leasing fees are insane! However one of the best things i did was ask, how can i avoid paying insane leasing fees? and the manager told me "pay it off in 120 days" he sat me down went over my payment options and got me set up on automatic payments every payday so i could pay my sofa off before the same as cash expired. So if you are going to shop rent to own ... don't do the 12 month 18 month or 24 month payment options do the 120 days same as cash. You will save...
