Uinta County Museum — Attraction in Evanston

I was visiting Evanston and saw that the admission to the county museum was free and decided to check it out. Happy I did. Neat museum in the historical part of town. There's plenty of local artifacts and information about the history, industry and ways of life in Evanston and Unita County in general. Staff was great and happy to answer any questions. Amazing free museum with an impressive collection. Great Native American Indian section and a fun "hands on" area for the kids. Docents are cheerful and knowledge. From natural history, to narratives (with local context) of the World Wars and stories of life in the American west, this museum is a true gem.
