The Asylum in Evansville was so much better than expected! Lots of laughs, great characters making it fun, a brief period where they separate everyone to make it scarier for those of you that get scared in haunted houses! #haunted #halloween #hauntedhouse #asylum #spookyseason

Evansville nightmare factory is a wonder itself, but the blackout night was something different. I have been there 2 times and every time it has been a unique and terrifying experience that left me wanting to go through again each time. I went for blackout night and was expecting some ankle grabbing and shoulder brushes, but I was thrown into a wall, put on a table, locked in a cage, shocked, and got stuff dumped on my face, as well as a confetti popper in my face. Obviously this was strictly for the special blackout night event at the end of the season, and they normally can’t touch you, but the blackout night and regular season exceeded my expectations and proved to me that this is definitely the best haunted house around. I 100% recommend.

Absolutely Thrilling Experience! We had an incredible time at the Evansville Nightmare Factory Haunted House! The whole experience was beyond what we expected. The atmosphere was unique, the actors did a phenomenal job, staying in character and delivering the perfect amount of fear and excitement throughout the entire haunt. From the moment we arrived, the staff was super friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. Every detail, from the set design to the special effects, was top-notch. If you're looking for a haunted house that stands out from the rest, this is the place to go. Highly recommended for a night of thrills and chills!

I don’t even know how to put in words how much fun this haunt was. I went through with some friends, already disappointed in other haunts, but to my surprise, this was a complete 180! From the beginning the midway offered many activities that put you in the spooky spirit, and actors roaming around really set the tone of how terrifying this haunt would be. When we got in, we sensed a feeling of impending doom after hearing the back story about the cult and their leader, the goat guy. Every. Single. Actor. was terrifying and in character, offering plenty of jump scares, eerie movements, performances, all with variety of different scares. I also don’t know how they managed to put some of these scenes together with it being their second year open. I have been a haunt enthusiast for a while and I would expect a haunt like this to be open for 15+ years. Scenes were EXTREMELY well thought out and detailed, along with a lot of sensory elements. There were smells, sounds, (my favorite being an audio that repeated “you’re going to die” in a demented voice), there were very realistic and overwhelming sights, physical senses (a room where you have to avoid a man climbing over top of you while being on a slant the whole time, and even floors that felt like they were wobbling). This haunted house was extremely immersive and really made me feel like I was in an old hospital overtaken by a cult. Ignore any reviews that say otherwise, because this is by far the best haunt I’ve ever been to. I am not from around here, and this haunted house will surely make me travel again. I 100% recommend. Also very kind and helpful staff and wonderful food and refreshments. Ticket seems cheap compared to what is...

My husband and I went to The Asylum for the first time last night. Being that we met at an another Halloween attraction we worked for in Evansville, we are no strangers to the work that goes into putting on a good haunt experience.

The actors are incredible. Their makeup, dedication, ability to stay in character, and timing were all excellent!

The scenes were also very well done! We saw some very creative, well executed, and unique ideas brought to life.

The location is also great! It’s secluded while not being out of the way and still in the city. The size of the attraction is great too! It took us a good 20 minutes to get through, which is perfect!

All around 10/10. If I had the availability to inquire about working there next season, I absolutely would. instead, I will spread the word to all my friends and family to make sure they check it out to support this business as long as possible! I can’t wait to return...

So last night I took a group of freshman boys to a couple haunted houses. Most had never been to one. It was supposed to be a fun night. We were all pumped up for the first one, but let down completely. The actors kept breaking character. I walked away thinking wow that was such a waste of money! The boys said they expected it to actually be scary. Reluctantly we decided to try another. After reading reviews we decided to go to The Asylim EVV. What a complete 180! This place was great! The costumes were on point and looked like the pictures online! The actors not only stayed in character but all played their roles very well! If your in the area and want to go to multiple haunted houses save some driving and go thru this one a couple times! There was so much to see I want to go again to pay more attention to detail! Great job guys, you created a memory I don't think we will...
