After patronizing the DV for several years, I have never seen such horrible customer service. I walked in just before closing and stood at the counter for about 3mins. There was only one customer who was seated, enjoying a pastry and a beverage. No one was at the counter, nor insight. After I said "Hello" (in an outside voice), two young associates appeared from the back. "Kylie" rushed to the counter saying, "Sorry, we did not hear you come in." After placing my order, I asked to purchase a gift card..When I asked for a sleeve to put it in, Kylie said, We don't have any." I asked for the item to be deleted from my total. Kylie then said, Uhh I don't know how to do that." I said, find someone to figure it out. After pressing a few buttons on the POS machine, it was done..THEN she had the nerve to place my drink on the counter with agitated force and said, "There ya go!" Wow! DB management must be hard up for good help. I don't think Kylie understands that patrons help pay her wages. Won't spend money...

Not many donuts were left which is okay but kinda weird at 10.30 in the morning. No one smiling everyone clearly irritated about being at work. I asked several times which coffee was which only because I ordered one sugar free and I needed to know which one was which. That seemed to be a problem also. We did not feel welcomed at all and I will not return for that reason. There is no need whatsoever to have a rude attitude right when customers come on.
