Food quantity great, quality edible with extra pickles and ketchup. Priced for a friend.

This is a nostalgic place in the neighborhood. There are usually, several people lined up at the window to order and several waiting for their food.

We both had the burger and fries mentioned on the board outside. And shared a medium sundae. As I said large portions of cheap food.

Indoor seating consists of a couple (4ish) bar stools against a "bar" built into the windows. I've never seen anyone eating inside. The outside area has been fixed up with three large sturdy picnic tables under a lean-to attached to the building. It is a nice area. We did have to ask to have it wiped off. The worker quickly and nicely did, but only wiped the one table we were going to sit at. The other two tables were dirty but she did not wipe them. It was comfortable eating outside until someone smoking sat at the next table. Since this is a public eating area it would be nice to be a non-smoking area. The person was oblivious to our discomfort, not sure if there were signs she would have...

Very disappointed in this restaurant. My wife and I had been wanting to try this after seeing the good reviews, so we drove over ONE HOUR to eat here. First thing I noticed was the walk in area where you order food. It was so dirty and disgusting. The floor was coming up by the door, the floor looked like it hadn’t been mopped in days. Still we stayed and ordered our food. I ordered a cheese burger and the girl at the window automatically try to charge me for the largest burger and most expensive they had. So I corrected that quickly. My wife ordered a corn dog and a large onion rings for us to share. When we got the food the bag was dripping in grease. My wife’s corn dogs were SO BURNT they SNAPPED off. Onion rings were also super dark and very burnt. We didn’t even eat a quarter of the bag of onion rings. Ridiculous. Burger was okay, but super messy. For over $25 for the little amount of food, I at least expected it to to taste good and NOT have to get thrown away. Needless to say we will...

My last review was about 4 years ago. The place was really terrible all the way around. They finally fixed the place up and it looks nice. However, The manager who works here is a young girl who is very rude and disrespectful. Apart and sent my 9-year-old son in to order.. The lady was extremely rude and yelled and talked crazy to my son. She threatened to kick him out if I did not move my car because I was parked in the wrong spot. I had no problem with moving. But after the way she talked to and treated my son there was no way I was buying food from there. I seen how she was moving her body. Her body language meet told me something was wrong so when my son looked at me I motioned him towards the vehicle. How he told me she spoke to him when he got in.. There is absolutely no way we will ever be back. Where I'm from people get hurt for that. It was about 7 or 8 p.m. my son said the lady who was rude and disrespectful was...

Cute little historic drive-in with good made to order food. The young ladies who were working were cheerful and efficient. I tried the Grippos Chicken Sandwich and Grippos fries combo (because if you're in Evansville, Grippos is a thing), my mom had fried mushrooms, and my dad tried the fish sandwich. We all thought the food was tasty, and the portion sizes were great for the price, lots of food, and not breaking the bank. The biggest drawback is that they have no public restroom. They'll direct you to the Circle K gas station across the street, but said gas station won't let you use theirs without buying something. If you're local, you're probably fine with this, but we had just arrived in town after a road trip, so this made things a touch uncomfortable.

My family and I had dinner here last weekend. My wife ordered a Double Cheeseburger with a side of Onion Rings. She loved how juicy and flavorful the cheeseburger was, and said that the onion rings were delicious, hot and had the right balance of onion to batter. My son liked his Double Bacon Cheeseburger with a side of Fries. I ordered the Breaded Tenderloin with a side of Cheesy Tater Tots. That was one delicious Tenderloin. It had a crunchy and flavorful exterior, juicy meat, a soft bun and dressed. The cheesy tater tots were cheesy and delicious. And the staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is an iconic drive in restaurant in Evansville, Indiana. It will give you an historic experience of simpler times. It is a great place to stop and get some burgers or an ice cream. The staff are very friendly and work really hard in the small hot kitchen. The franchises places are great but really happy to see these small icons of history are still serving customers after so many years. Still a great place to get a great ice cream cone and a burger.
