A gem hidden in plain sight. If you’ve travelled the I-5 corridor between Everett and Marrysville, you’ve passed it without even realizing. Located along the eastern side of the snohomish river, the park offers two boat ramps, walking paths, green lawns, benches to take in the views, an old pier, bathrooms (seasonal), water fountain (seasonal), and two different parking lots. There are even a couple pull offs that you can use to park in if by some chance you aren’t able to get a spot (I’ve never been here when it’s busy enough).

Read morePros and cons. Pros first, because I really liked the place although it’s basically just a place to rest. Very clean bathrooms. When they are closed, the portable toilets will be available. Picnic tables to eat under beautiful trees. Plenty of parking with room for campers. Cons: nowhere to get near water unless you risk going down some rocks and into very thick mud. (You can be near water at the bottom of the boat ramp.) My biggest con and pet peeve, some people are not cleaning up after their dogs. Watch...
