A beautiful, scenic, peaceful trail that wanders along side the Snohomish River. The trail is originally 1.75 miles from the boat launch to where it meets the sidewalk by the new housing development off of 41st Street. If you turn right onto the side walk for about 20 feet you meet up with an extension of the trail that ads about .7 miles that isn't as scenic and has continued problems with homeless camp. For those of us who are wanting a longer walk or jog it is great. I tend to start at the gravel parking lot and warm up by walking to the boat launch and then stretch and or use the bathroom that is there. It runs along the Snohomish River. You'll see picnic tables and picnic meadows aling the route. There are houses along the trail but also preserved wetlands. Be prepared for bugs. There are a lot of it along the trail during warmer days, mostly due to the wetland and river. Definitely recommend for all age groups. The parking lot is not really a proper one but instead a gravely road fenced using...
