The staff at Scents of Thyme (Scents) has always been friendly and helpful to myself and my partner, and have always answered our myriad questions about every aspect of soapmaking (hot and cold process) easily and completely. They are open on Saturdays, which is a plus, and they always have what we need in stock and in the quantities needed (i.e., we usually make about three batches of hot process soap at a time, so we need several pounds of multiple oils for each, and this doesn't even dent their stock the tiniest smidge). Parking is free, right in front, and easy for those with disabilities (like me), so you don't have far to go or uphill with heavy stuff like base oils. They also sell molds-like larger batch wooden box molds, which are pretty spendy; and the smaller, plastic ones that are less expensive, but fancy-pants (I do not remember how extensive their mold stock is but I will update this review next time I visit). Also, I wanted to mention that even though they have a very small brick and mortar (I have no idea if they sell online as well), their oils are NEVER rancid. I also feel like I have always gotten a competitive price at Scents as well for oils (essential and base oils like palm and olive), especially for a specialty store. They also have an EXTENSIVE array of single note essential oils and blends, as well as coloring agents. Scents is a gem-don't be fooled by its tiny exterior, ladie+ and gentleme+! This is truly a well-rounded store with an impressive array of stock-everything you need, and I mean everything (oh, all right! I do not think they have thermometers, actually, so not every SINGLE thing, but you get the idea)-for your...
