I have driven past Gilbert park many times and have stopped in just once and never realized how big the trail was and how peaceful and beautiful it was. It's a small area. Unless you like walking in circles a bigger park might be better. A few pavilions for a small get together but other than that, too small for me to really get a great walk in with the dog.
