I’m very disappointed. My Mother’s Day was ruined. I picked Acapulco. It’s usually one of my favorite restaurants and usually has good food and okay service. First we got someone who it was her first day, that’s fine. I was trying to be very nice and understanding. Took 20 mins to even have someone come get our drink order and I ordered cheese dip and salsa picante at that time. She brought our drinks and took our order. My cousin ordered something that I guess wasn’t on the menu. Instead of telling him, she gave him something else. I had to ask for the cheese dip and salsa after waiting 20 mins longer. Once we got them, she says kitchen is behind. Within 2 mins, our food starts coming out. But that’s right kitchen is behind and couldn’t spoon out some cheese dip or salsa picante that was put in 20 mins before the food. Then I get my food and the ground beef is barely tan and it’s pink. So is my daughters. I stopped the manager and he only reply was “they put tomato sauce in it” and walks away. Tomato sauce makes meat darker, not lighter. It has to be browned first. Do they think people who eat there don’t ever cook? I ended up stopping a waiter and telling him I wanted my food and daughters food removed from our check. I’m not eating undercooked food. Then they tried to charge us $40 for 14 drinks…there were only 7 drinks. This was just awful and ridiculous. And this manager, he never came back out past our table, no apology from any of the workers. We eat here on Sundays anywhere from once to twice a month. We are regulars here. I shouldn’t have to go home and cook something to eat or watch my family eat while I sit there obviously upset and...
Read moreI have had several dates here. Each time has been more interesting than the next. Last night some many people had huge burritos on their plates . Our burritos where not huge at all. So we open the burrito and understood why not.... Only on the ends of burritos was meat. 4 strips each side. In the center was only. The appearance was great looking... I wanted meat evenly through out my burrito. That's what I paid for... If I had not seen other people burritos first I wouldn't even though twice on the size or check how Small our burritos came out. The burrito was missing black beans. The waiter brought out burned beans. The waiter never came back to table. We wanted more to drink but had to watch other tables being helped. He came over . ask what we needed. Than gave him more water. The waiter was not in the mood to do his job last night. Everyone has a bad day. The drinks are watered down if you get margarita.. The waiter osinondo didn't want to even talk to. Me and my date. Never gave a choice of anything from sauces to drinks. Not sure if it's New Management but food and service was...
Read moreHave been sampling the restaurants around the Fairfield area. As a non-local, I enjoy the search for restaurants that offer fine cuisine and offer the tastes from which they grew up with. ( Granted, some are exceptionally tasteful, yet others can be a bit challenging) In review of the menu, I chose the Pork Chimichanga
s, as I couldn't seem to find any burritos that offered ingredients, excluding rice or beans, with the filler. I may have somehow overlooked it, but regardless, just didn't see one listed. The chimichanga
s weren't overly bad, but the seasoning they used tended to have an overwhelming hint of vinegar, which progressively gives the food a bitter taste. Overall it was satisfactory, unfortunately just wasn't anything extrordinary. I personally am not in a hurry to return, which I'm certain another selection would likely prove to be more satisfactory, and I'm certain of will try it again at a later date, but for the time, I`'ll need to give my palates time...
