This trip was mine and my fiancé’s first trip to Cape Cod together; we came here for our engagement trip and we’re excited to stay at Sea Crest. The hotel is in a perfect location, not a far drive from the cute downtown area and of course right on the beach. The staff here is friendly also. We did have a problem during our stay however, which lasted the entire 3 nights we were there. The bedding had multiple stains which looked like dried blood stains and a liquid spill (coffee, maybe). I unfortunately did not realize this our first night and on the second day, I took pictures of the bedding and informed the front desk of what had happened. They apologized right away and told us they were going to give us new sheets while we were out to dinner. We came back that night with a bed that was made so I assumed they had switched the sheets to new, clean ones. The next morning I realized the exact same bedding was on with the same stains that I had taken a picture of before. So again, I went down to the front desk and let them know that the same bedding was on, it just seemed that someone had made the bed and not changed the sheets. They apologized again and sent someone up with new bedding and made the bed right away. My fiancé and I appreciated the urgency the staff was able to show. Right before bed on our last night, I noticed they were different sheets but with more stains (looked like dried blood again) and at this point I was so tired and I had given up on trying to fix this. It was clear to me that 1) they do not bleach their bedding 2) if they do bleach their bedding, they don’t provide brand new sheets when old ones have been ruined by stains. While staying at a hotel, I’ve never had to ask 3 times for the same issue to be fixed. I was absolutely disgusted and disappointed that an issue that seems to be an easy fix was not. While the hotel did ask us to visit the front desk before check out to make sure we received some kind of discount or refund - which they did and we are thankful for that - it still does not fix the issue. Everyone wants to stay in a comfortable, clean space when they visit a hotel. This was unfortunately not our experience. I’ve provided pictures of the stains.

OVERPRICED! We stayed here for 1 night and I am glad we didn’t stay any longer. For the price of these rooms you would think it would be a quality hotel? The only thing good about this hotel is the location and the grounds. Its right on the beach and has amazing pools, one out side and one half in door that is heated. Theres a restaurant and ice-cream shop on property. We arrived early and our room was not ready, they allowed us to park and enjoy the amenities. Said they would txt us when room was ready. The promised check in time, 4pm comes around, we go to check in and are told our room isn't ready. Its waiting on “inspection”, another 45 minute wait later and it’s finally ready.. Ive traveled the world and I've never had a hotel say the room wasn’t ready upon check in time! The staff has horrible manners also. The rooms are so small and cape cod style so make sure you don't hit your head! The door handle fell off while we were staying, looked like it was never screwed on, if they inspected the room idk how that could have slipped! If you need accessibility make sure to book a room that says so! Our room- a whole floor mind you- was only accessible by stairs. If you want privacy this hotel is not for you. People talking in the room next to you sounds as if they are standing right next to you. Kids run up and down the halls and you hear EVERYTHING! God forbid if the room next to you turns on the shower- sounds like the whole building is falling apart. The room had a mini fridge but NO microwave or coffee pot! Ive never stayed at a hotel and had this issue before! I would stay in Falmouth again but never at this hotel!

My family stayed here in August. We paid an outrageous amount of money (>$800/night, double what we've EVER spent elsewhere on a hotel room) for an "ocean view" suite to celebrate my wife's birthday. Some of the issues we had were pretty small... things like broken dresser drawers, broken closet doors, dead light bulbs, and very-leaky showers. Some of the issues were more concerning... a tremendous amount of noise in the hallway at night (including someone running a vacuum in front of our door at 11pm), a rodent in the pool, rude staff, and even a stoned server in the restaurant. But the biggest issue we had was a MASSIVE leak at 6am on our second morning that woke us up because it quite literally sounded like there was a faucet running next to our bed. It turned out there were about a dozen leaks in the room (around the windows) during a rainstorm and water was pouring onto on electrical outlet. We immediately unplugged the air conditioner plugged into the outlet then called the front desk and waited almost an hour and a half for a maintenance person to come and vacuum the water that we hadn't already caught with bath towels. The front desk person we spoke with was apologetic and refunded the $40/night resort fee but said that he could not adjust the bill further. He said a manager would contact us to make it right, but we never heard from anyone and we received no sort of refund. Just one more thing wrong with this place.
