Finnish Center Association — Attraction in Farmington Hills

This is where we had our reception after the wedding ceremony on June 28th, 2014. It was so beautiful! They had just put in a new dance floor, and boy did it get used! We had about 150-200 people attend the wedding, and there was plenty of space to mingle, eat, and dance. They also had a lovely garden for guests to visit. The lighting was soft and romantic. The best part-the reception hall had a stage where my husband surprised me with a full band that performed a song he wrote for me! It was great, and we have received so many compliments on our wedding. Another great thing it's where it's located, very convenient for guests to locate and next to a lot of great hotels for out of town guests (we came all the way from Texas and only had to drive five minutes to get to the hall!) This place gets one star because I had to give them something. AWFUL SERVICE, RUDE EMPLOYEES and I will NEVER reccomend this place to anyone EVER. These people tried to cancel our wedding the day before. They were nothing but rude to us, lied to us over and over again and were totally unprepared for my reception. We paid $300 for bartenders who were very inexperienced. We had 250 people that waited in long lines most of the night for alcohol that was not even what we paid for. We paid for top shelf and got stuff I had never even heard of. They served warm beer and didn't bus their own tables. We have made several attempts to reach them about a settlement but now have no choice but to take...
