Winding Trails is absolutely awesome! When I was a Cross Country runner I used to always love coming to run here because it was always such a great experience. The scenery is very beautiful. The trail is flat. There’s trees, water, and an island to swim out to. Without doubt I recommend going to Winding Trails because it’s a beautiful and fun place to go to! Have a great day!🌲😃🏃🏃‍♀️

When we were dating my wife recommended we participate in the Tri Series at WT. I was amazed with the place right away and knew I would be joining as soon as I had a child. A few years later, when our first boy was 3 years old, we were members. That was 3 years ago and we love it! All summer we take turns running and mountain biking while the kids play on the beach. We go in the winter to skate on the pond and to go cross country sking. It is my favorite part of living in central CT. Our oldest goes to summer camp there too and he loves...

As a Farmington Resident I have tried for many years to get a membership to Winding trails. They tell me every year there is a waiting list of over 300. How can this be possible if everyone I know is already a member. We play soccer here with Ajax and like it but impossible. Just called them again a few days ago and was told there is an 1100 family wait list. If you incorporated a new list every year and let other people become members, like 1st come for that year not just the old members that are grandfathered automatically. This...

It was a warm sunny day and we took our very young grandchildren to Winding Trails. He spent most of our time in the beach area which was well protected with lifeguards who were very alert. the water was clean and the patrons were neat and careful to observe safety rules. Overall it was a very positive experience for the children and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Very nice place to take children on a warm sunny...
