It appears there may be two pull offs in general vicinity of Wolf Creek Falls. There is no discernible trail..itâs sheer bushwhacking to get down to stream basin and even entering into side of the stream from hillside approach with growth that blocks your navigation it can be tricky. Stream seems to be intermittent with flow so falls can reflect that and may be disappointing if you build it up in your mind. Once in stream bed environment, you are completely surrounded by lush greens and rock hopping has its challenges with algae on rocks and many of rocks are smooth from being water beaten. I opted for walking in stream numerous times rather then risking the rock hop even with hiking sticks. The payoff is great sense of feeling isolated and serene despite Fayetteville road being 50-75 feet away. I used a drainage swath to descend. I wore a lot of forest in doing so but it beats fighting the overgrown rhododendrons and whatever lurks under themđł! Itâs a nice little falls and the reward is seeing and experiencing what most wonât because itâs a bit of work getting there. Worth it...

I didn't explore the Falls trail much, but the falls itself was very close to my parking area and i got good shots of a small footbridge and nearby creek that...
Read moreThis was a beautiful place. You can cross a bridge and walk right up to a waterfall. The water was so cold and beautiful. Standing on the bridge you could see it running off the side of the mountain. We were there Sunday afternoon and it was so peaceful and quiet. Only saw 3 or 4 other people. A great place for a picnic or to get some awesome pictures. If you're looking for something in life but just can't seem to figure out what it is, this is the place you need to be. Just close your eyes and listen to the...
