I've lived in State College for years and I like to take my grandmother to get fresh fruit. Generally we go to Lewisburg as there's more variety but today I decided to give this farm a try. I called-
Me: Good morning. What are your hours for U-Pick today?
Harner Farm: It's raining....
Me: Umm (didn't know it was raining), oh okay. Okay, when can we come to pick peaches?
Harner Farm: I mean.... anytime it ain't raining.
Me: okay.
Harner Farms: hangs up
Do NOT believe all this positive reviews. I couldn't believe this is how rude the lady was to me. These will be the SAME businesses complaining about people not supporting local businesses. How can we when you are RUDE!? WE the community are the reason you're still in business. I won't be spending a penny at this Farm. I'll also let the elderly people at my church know as well. There are other U-Pick farms that would appreciate your money. Stay away from...
Read moreLike reviews said before, staff are not kind. I took my one year old here today and was given multiple bad vibes. Staff was very condescending and short with responses. I’m pretty sure I also caught the one woman worker glaring at me when she didn’t think I was looking. Decorations are okay but they have signs on them saying “don’t stand on statue” so makes for a lousy picture anyway. Also, it’s right off the busy road which I didn’t realize. Overall, just a big let down...

There were plenty of pumpkins to select from and the whole place was decorated for Halloween. The haunted corn maze was fun and surprisingly large. Prices were a tincy bit high for produce, but given their location it only makes sense. Overall a nice place to go, but is a bit small compared to some of its competitors, however it is by far the most convenient farm stand for...
