This office has always been very pleasant to me. I am currently in nursing school and the program request certain exams and vaccines that need to be done with last minute notice. The office has always got me in quickly! However on my last vist I went in for my annual exam, which with insurance should have been either free or a small bill for extra labs. However I recieved a bill for $260.00. I could not figure out how this was possible, I have done the same labs, gone to the same facility and had the same insurance for years. When I called I was told that some of the labs I had done were sent to the new Longmont UCHealth hospital, while others were sent to another lab, they mentioned to me this was because the office no longer have a pathologist. With my insurance anything that relates to a hospital visit, I guess even if I dont touch foot in the actually hospital, I get charged my ER copay. My insurance company was very pleasant and explained everything very nicely to me. UCHealth on the other hand had me talk to 10 different people, never once being the same person. I still do not understand why one set of labs was sent to one office that is in network, and my others went to the hospital. If all my labs went to the same Lab service that I did not recieve a bill from I would have only had to pay $10, instead my doctor chose to send some to the hospital without communicate to me that hat was what had to be done. The lack of communication from doctor to patient was very upsetting as well as from UCHealth administration to patient. I will never go back for my annual again or any other visit....
Read moreBefore I say anything, I want to mention that the receptionist ladies are absolutely amazing and truly did everything they could to help me out. Extremely sweet and kind people. So I went in to renew a prescription because I just moved to the state. It was an emergency so I went to Urgent Care. I got my mg increased by the doctor I'd seen, and then when I went to fill the prescription, I was told that he "wasn't a real doctor" and I was refused my medication that the doc had just prescribed me. Then to top it all off, they had CANCELLED my prescription with my doctor in my previous state (so they could issue my new one) but refused to give me my newly prescribed medication unless I paid them for another visit with an ACTUAL doctor a MONTH from now, and spend hundreds of dollars to have the exact same appointment all over again with a different doctor. The part that really made me laugh is that they told me it was totally fine to quit my meds that I had been prescribed and taking for years......totally fine to quit them cold-turkey, when it said in bold print on the medication "DO NOT SUDDENLY STOP TAKING THIS MEDICATION AS IT COULD LEAD TO SEVERE SIDE-EFFECTS" but they told me "nahhh youll just have a headache, youre fine". It wasn't fine. It was extremely terrifying, and makes me wonder what the hell is going on at...
Read moreJust miserable..... I cannot think of a more ineptly run organization. It's as if they make a conscious effort to make your experience there as impersonal, irritating and infuriating as possible. The minimum amount of time I have to spend on hold is 10 minutes usually the hold is longer and has reached as long as 40 minutes. This is a small town clinic! There is no reason anyone should ever be on hold for more than a minute or two. When you finally do speak with someone they are rude (probably because they have been yelled at all day by people who have been sitting on hold forever) and they never seem to know what's going on with the Doctor's or their nurses and you will often get different answers regarding schedules depending on who you talk to. As if that weren't enough, the billing system is an absolute joke! I spend three months disputing a charge and finally had to send in a copy of my bank statement proving that I paid the charge at time of service as I always do. The kicker to this all... They're the only regional location (including Longmont clinic though they are one in the same) that has a pediatricians! So if you have a little one you are forced to either drive into Denver or Loveland or deal with CVMC. At the first opportunity I will happily go...
