Terrible customer service. We’ve been getting takeout at King Wah for 3+ years and have had the normal hiccups, missing food from orders, longer service, inconsistent food, it happens.
I got a large Pho as takeout late in the afternoon to have for dinner in the evening. When I made my Pho for dinner the broth looked smaller than normal. Then, when I added it to the rest of the ingredients in a bowl it barely covered half of the noodles and beef. Pretty disappointing but I have some beef broth I added to it.
I called to let them know what happened and see what they could do to resolve the issue. Their only solutions were for me to either come back and get more broth, or if I want a refund, I also have to come back with the food. The food I had already placed in a bowl to eat. I continued to push for another solution and the manager, Velta, told me she would call me back the same night. I never received a called.
What a terrible response from management. At the very least, she could have offered some sort of credit for my next visit but they were not willing to do anything to make it right except inconvenience me for their mess up.
I’ve spent a good amount of money here, won’t be back now. When a company can’t provide good customer service, they don’t deserve my money and business.
Update: I called the restaurant after not hearing from them as promised from Velta, the manager. I spoke with Chin who was able to provide a credit to my account. It would have been helpful if the first manager I spoke with, Velta, would have listened to me as the customer. Chin let me know that a large pho should have 32 oz of broth, as typical for what I’ve previously received. However, I received 16oz as indicated on their cup which was communicated to both managers. Read moreI've had this place a few times since moving here, but after our experience tonight I won't be eating here again. We decided to order in tonight and had our dinner delivered so we could stay at home, when it got here I noticed before even opening the container it was not what I always get there. I had ordered cashew chicken which in their restaurant has chicken, celery, carrots, and cashews on top(weird right?). I noticed there weren't any cashews and that the sauce was a different color as well as having zucchini and other veggies that are not usually in it, it also did not look like chicken. We called and told them our order wasn't right and asked if we could come get what I had ordered, when we got there the lady told my boyfriend that the water chestnut that was in the entree was the cashews and told him they would not replace it, as it was their cashew chicken. I honestly feel like it was an excuse to not remake my food to what I had ordered, and I am currently trying to get a refund from door dash because they couldn't be bothered to treat their customers like they paid for their food. Read moreI asked for two orders of the beef on a skewer; an order each of chicken fried rice, combination fried rice and Mongolian beef extra spicy. The first thing I go for is the beef on a skewer and to my suprise it came with additional sauces. I opened one of the sauces and poured them on the beef sticks. Then I noticed mold in the sauce and checked the other sauce and it also had mold. I called and told them about the mold. The lady told me they would exchange the food for a new order. The driver took the molded food, have me the new ones and then said I owe her $8.38 for the new order?! So, I give you back the food I already paid for because it had mold and have to pay again to get the food I wanted? I told her I'm not paying for them twice. So she just left but I still kept the new order. The new beef sticks were under-cooked and really, really thin.
