2 weeks ago I decided to come back to the Catholic church ...it's been years since I've been a practicing Catholic ...growing up north as a Italian Spanish Catholic I gotten away from my Catholic up bringing ....well the Holy Spirit moved me to come back an I found St Mary Magdalene Catholic Church ...I found peace ...the Catholic Church has changed so much since when I was growing up in NY /NJ it's changed for the better ...I've attended to Saturday masses already an a few afternoon masses I enjoyed them all ...I meet with Father Boyle all ready an attended a couple of his masses ...I like Father Boyle he's a New Yorker ...he came from the neighborhood...I can relate to him ...I hope to attended more an get involved an hopefully get to meet more people there ...thank you ...for opening my Catholic Christian faith ...All things are made possible through...

Read moreNice church with quite a large attendance at the 9:00 Mass. It's not very dynamic visually, although I'm quite spoiled and influenced by the beautiful St. Lawrence Basilica in Asheville (which is a true must see), where I attended Mass the last 3 years, prior to recently moving to Greenville within the last month. The different Priests I've encountered here thus far seem nice and very personable, but their accents are a little difficult to understand. I'm undecided yet as to if this will be "my church" and feel the need to look around and attend some other Masses before...
