If you don't pay extra attention, you might miss the turn. If you don't pay extra attention again, you'll understand nothing about this place, even if you are walking and looking around. So, sign in at the entrance, take a paper brochure, see there are paragraphs with numbers, and find little posts with coordinate numbers, things might make more sense. It is a free place, so nothing to complain about, guess they try their best to make things work on a budget. A bit disappointed, to be honest.

FREE and open to the public! Amazing preserved historical site. Highly recommend going to learn about native history and dendrochronology. (Study of tree aging) There is an audio tour you can get by downloading an app or for those who are hard of hearing or prefer to read, there are brochures that gone the same information as the audio. There are hidden beneath the sign in sheet. No bathrooms or trash bins so come prepared and be respectful of the land to keep it going for future visitors.

A very up close look at early native life in Northern Arizona. This is an active archeological site where discoveries are still being made today. It's a very easy walk. I would recommend visiting later in the evening because the site is less than 100 yards from a busy highway, and traffic noise takes away from the serenity of the site.

We decided to check out the ruins while exploring Flagstaff for the first time, and I couldn't be happier with where we chose to went. It was beautiful and well preserved. We were greeted by a really nice person who took us on a tour of the complex, telling us the history of everything we were doing. I couldn't recommend going here more. It was completely free and such an amazing thing to get...
