Sandy Seep Trailhead — Attraction in Arizona

This hike was recommended by someone at the resort. It was not crowded at all - i went at 7:30 in the morning. There was parking but beware of ruts and uneven road. No fee to pay. No bathrooms at this trailhead. Perfect for an early morning walk! Easy to navigate using All Trails app. Trail markings could be better. Not the most scenic trail compared to other trails in the area, but it was good for a quick walk....

I love this better than Fat Man's Loop. Less people and it goes on forever, plus the incline is gradual with a lot of different scenery. We did this hike in the afternoon and returned around dusk with deer all around us on the trail as we returned to the lot. Definitely coming back again! Some mountain bikers but all were completely aware and courteous of hikers,another win...

Spent 4 days in Arizona and only saw a few fleeting lizards. Until we hiked here. We saw at least 3 different species of lizards. Baby horned lizards all over. My son's were thrilled. It's also a lot less busy than some other trails. I'm looking at you...
