Carroll County Fairgrounds — Attraction in Flora

Weather was great. Nice crowd. They had a chicken dinner fundraiser. Food and service was very good.They had a live band. Silverado Band. I heard them before and as always, very good entertainment. The large crowd liked the variety of music. Classic R&R and country. Great vocals, lost of very good harmony. If you have a opportunity to hear them, you won't be sorry. I really enjoy going to the park (knowing ahead of time I will have a nice relaxing time) from eating my lunch or just enjoying a chocolate coke from "The Soda Shack" or reading, just taking in all the relaxing nature from the nice trees to the squirrels, kiddos laughing. You just have to explore Flora, Indiana park there is way to many things to try to make a list. It will be worth your time to drive one block off the main road but not to hear the main road. Nice place to visit, you can meet plenty of people and have some fun. It's a farm festival though so the main attraction is the animals, but there are some other activities.
