This park has a few different things
water park - small fee per person gets you into the water park with splash area and Olympic pool with diving boards as well as a big water slide. Must be 48” tall for the slide. It’s clean and wasn’t too crowded in mid May. Also not much shade despite they small canopies over the seating. The bathrooms were clean and some vending machines available as well. Lifeguards are on duty here.
soccer field - there was an adult game being played with referees. Looks like a very nice field
playground - it’s quiet and small, not much shade, shelter area with benches where sometimes parties are held. There wasn’t a single other kid here.
walking path and grounds. Some shade is available walking under the trees.
Good place to check out. I prefer some of the other parks with larger playgrounds and more shade as well as more kids… if you have kids. There are plenty of playgrounds and parks that are on the...
Read moreThis place was an utter disappointment. The cost was reasonable at least. There were wet paper towels on the deck. You aren't allowed in the big pool unless you dive into it. Apparently, it's just for diving but I saw several people swimming. The only other option is a 3 foot kiddie pool. You can't wear goggles on the slides. My daughter whom is 10 couldn't rest her head back because the water was going into her eyes and mouth so automatically sat up and smacked her head. It's nice if you have a toddler because of the kiddie pool. Also the bathroom was horrorific. I apologized to the life guard. I didn't know I had to sacrifice myself on the diving board. He just rolled his eyes and walked away. Apparently, being empathic is over rated.Maybe they should have a sign that says " NO SWIMMING IN THE POOL". Save your self the aggravation and go to the one...
Read moreMy sister and I took our kids to the park there. The playground is great; the kids loved it, and I didn't have to worry too much about safety (aside from my son's standard issue need to test the limits). The bathrooms were not too bad for being public, park restrooms in the middle of the day on a holiday. The only thing that I would say that could have been "user friendlier" is a clear indication either from 41 or on Google maps of where the playground entrance is. We ended up walking around the soccer field, etc. from the other side of the park because we didn't know there was a parking lot (we actually didn't even know if there was a playground there until we were parked and all out of the vehicles). But a little exercise will never kill anyone...and, well, now we know so it's a nonissue (but maybe for new explorers...?) It was a nice walk with...
