Eagle Lakes Aquatic Facility — Attraction in Florida

We had to leave today due to my child’s swim suit. We have been there multiple times, same swim suit, in splash pad area and not one of the “lifeguards” said a thing. Today, we were at the same pool for solid 30 min. when we decided to move over to the baby pool side and were told that her swim suit is not “coastguard approved” and the pads in it need to be removed. They are built in, missy. Because “the back pad is bigger that the front”. BS! They are the same size + she has padding on arms to lo for better protection. Not to mention that 2 (2!!) “lifeguards” she was playing and swimming in from of in a pool where she could actually drown in, said nothing! Not today, not any of the previous times we were there. But a lifeguard in baby pool tells me to remove that?! Excuse me if based just on that inconsistency, I have more trust in my kids swim suit (a quality brand one, btw, not a Walmart made) over the “lifeguards”...

Visiting Naples from up north. Was looking to goto Sun and Fun but they are temporarily closed, so we came here instead. This is mostly just a few pools for differing ages in a single outdoor location so don't expect a proper water park in the amusement park sense but the very low admission price is good for what they have.

There is a large pool with swimming lanes and diving, a very shallow kiddie pool, two large slides, and a 3' deep splash pool with various fountains for play.

Me and my 10 yo stuck to the last one as the slides are currently closed, and the large pool doesn't have an open area for swimming around. We went on a mild warm Jan afternoon and it wasn't crowded at all, with ample seating. Facilities were all clean. We had a good time.
