We visited on a Tuesday in late December 2024 via the Yankee Freedom Ferry.
The Garden Key Lighthouse was just okay. To the point I didn't really take many pictures of it. What was amazing was when you turn around while next to it. The view out into the water and over Bush key is absolutely amazing. I would've just sat there for awhile if we had more time.
I would not recommend if you're not into heights. It is very high up and there are no guardrails. Make sure you watch young children up here.

   Read moreStunning Garden Key Light House was one of three lighthouses slated to be constructed in the Florida Straits in 1824. It's amazing the housing for the keepers. It's a two-story duplex for the principal and an assistant keeper, and a whose top floor served as living quarters for a second assistant keeper and whose ground floor was used as a communal kitchen.
