We visited on a Tuesday in late December 2024. The area on land was closed off. I'm assuming it was unstable and they didn't want anyone on it.
Not sure if you could snorkel around to it on the other side. We setup on the beach right next to the ruins for shade. There were a bunch of hermit crabs.
