Monday through Friday there is plenty of room for picnics for those of us who just want a bit of natural beauty and peace. I take my 82 year old aunt there 3 or 4 times a week to eat lunch, watch the boats and feed the birds & squirrel population. On the weekends it's full of families and there's plenty of things for the kids to do. Playgrounds are really nice and well maintained. Walking paths and workout areas abound. Plenty of well placed bathroom facilities that are clean. Lot's of tables & pavilions with grills available. There's a lake for boating, jet skiing, canoeing. No swimming that I know of but I could be wrong. They also have a camping area but I've never used it so I can't really comment on it. Anyway - I've had many, many pleasant days there and I hope you do too.

Really quite spacious grounds. A wide asphalt path is provided for bikes/strollers with toddlers/joggers/dog walkers/couples, etc. along the east perimeter of the park. Jet skiers and kayakers enjoy the long lake water. The recreational trailers blanket the park area designated for the usage. During the cool winter months this park very popular with seasonal visitors. As, a local, this place is not distant from my home and I frequent often as I enjoy the drive on Lake Osborne Drive (east side of Lake from 6th ave. south to Lantana road though quite a few speed bumps- but I never in hurry on this scenic route.

I am here for a baby shower where they have set up a pavilion for the guests. The park is spacious and nice with lots of trees and play parks for kiddos. There is a good-sized play area with some swings for the little ones and the slides and climbing playsets for older kids. I remember being a young one, loving running up and sliding down these kinds of park equipment. The weather is nice, so this event went well. We left a bit early, but everyone there had a great time.
