A Walk in the Park We visited John Prince Park (📍 2700 6th Ave S, Lake Worth Beach). Free entry, hours are sunrise to sunset. Water fountains are mostly by the restrooms, not out on the trails. No poop bag stations on the walk, so it’s best to come prepared. Over at the dog park, you’ll find water for both people and pups, and stations stocked for clean-ups. The park itself offers a variety of amenities, primarily for people, including lighted court facilities and lighted athletic fields (permit required), both of which are open until 10:00pm. Yet the trails make it easy to slow down with your dog and enjoy the space. #dogsoftiktok #dogfriendly #southflorida #adventuredog #walkinthepark

John Prince Park in Palm Beach County is a gem. Its huge. Many & multiple events are held there, even all at once, although not recommended because traffic would become congested. However, its well equipped to handle a family or group cookout, a large music & food festival or even host a 5K walk/run fundraiser. It's close to the interstate and interior close to shops and residential communities. Beautiful paths, sights to see, food for the mind, wind all throughout. Nature will nurture your spirit and the gentle breeze whispers to your soul. Stay a while and breathe. Exhale your worries. Inhale peace. The mindful moments never cease.

🌟 John Prince Park Review – Great Inflatable 5K Fun! 🌟 We had an absolute blast at John Prince Park this year during the Great Inflatable 5K Run! The park was the perfect setting — spacious, clean, and full of positive energy. The event was super fun for both kids and adults, with giant inflatables, laughter, and great vibes all around. We loved how organized everything was and how the park’s natural beauty made the whole experience even better. Big thanks to the organizers and the park for hosting such an awesome, family-friendly event. Can’t wait for next year!

Named after Lake Worth pioneer John Prince this 726 acre park situated around lake Osborne is huge! It is so big it has three entrances. This park literally has it all, a 1 mile long fitness trail with 20 exercise stations, 4 basketball court, a 4.5 mile long bicycle/ running/ hiking path, boat ramps, dog park, fitness zone with 17 pieces of outdoor exercise equipment, fishing, 1/2 mile nature trail, picnic pavilions, tables and grills, 4 playgrounds, a splash park, 3 softball fields, 8 tennis courts, and 2 grass and 6 sand volleyball courts.

I came to enjoy the walking path. It winds along the picturesque Lake Osborne which is 378 acres. I parked at the playground with the splash park and headed to my right and ended at the outdoor fitness zone before turning around and heading back. The walk was beautiful and I saw a lot of birds and other wildlife along the lake. The only part I didn't like was having the cyclists rushing within inches of me at high speeds. Even though I tried to stay to the edge of the path I feel like I had some close calls. There were also a lot of homeless folks everywhere in this park. No one bothered me but it seems sad that this is the best West Palm Beach can do for it's most vulnerable community members.

This park is so large it would take more than one visit to fully explore it. After my walk I drove around a bit until the road ended for cars. I was trying to find out if there was a path that did a full loop around the lake. I am still not sure if the 4.5 mile bike/ walk path only goes in one direction or of it loops back to where you started. I tried to ask some runners who seemed to indicate the path was one way. I can go 5 miles out but another 5 back would be pushing it for me which is why I prefer looping trails. If I lived closer I would be here all the time. This is a great park for the residents...

This is the" Central Park " of Palm Beach County. It's a diversified hub and meeting place catering to outdoor recreation and multipurpose use. Possibly due to COVID-19 the "Comisum Le Rinc Geelatch" the largest Irish dancing organization canceled the July competition, but it didn't stop this dedicated group of using the park for practice. There are both bike trails and walking path. Who needs "Planet Fitness " when this detailed Fitness route gives you fresh air and workout stations detailed with instructions anyone can understand. There is also workout equipment giving one "total Fitness for free". Can't make it? Rest areas with seating provides somewhere to regroup and recover. There are water spots, fields for every need from football to soccer. Children have safety with visibility access by caretakers. Grounds personnel keep it tidy , manicured, and maintained. They keep it ready and waiting for all visitors and welcome you presence. Support our parks and be mindful on how you treat the opportunity with picking up your trash, lock your vehicles and don't forget your...
