Robinson Preserve located in Bradenton ~ began as a habitat rehabilitation project, converting approximately 500 acres of former farmland into an eco-conservation refuge for the public to enjoy.

Over the years, it has expanded to encompass 682 acres of coastal marshland crisscrossed by mangrove-lined waterways, elevated boardwalks, walking and cycling paths, and scenic observation points.

The preserve boasts approximately 7.5 miles of hiking trails with varying skill levels and accessibility.

•Explore 2.5 miles of paved paths and wooden boardwalks for casual strolls, on-leash dog walking, road biking, and rollerblading.

•For a slightly more challenging experience, follow the crushed shell pathways suited for all-terrain hiking and cycling.

•Start your adventure on the paved Spoonbill Trail, which provides an excellent overview of the land.

•Ascend the 40-foot Robinson Preserve Observation Tower for breathtaking 360-degree views of Manatee County, Anna Maria Island, Emerson Point, and Tampa Bay

Water Adventures:

•Kayaking, canoeing, and stand-up paddleboarding are popular activities on the three miles of “Blueways Trails” within Robinson Preserve.

These inland waterways open into the Manatee River, Perico Bayou, and Palma Sola Bay.

•While wading and cast nets are prohibited, anglers with a recreational fishing license can try their luck with snook and redfish.
