Duck Pond Recreation Area — Attraction in Fontana-on-Geneva Lake

Nice little park with a unique dog walking area. Was told by some park worker not to park on the grass(in the area where the dogs poop - which is away from the rest of the park like playgrounds and ball fields)on Friday....then on Saturday...there is 100 vehicles parked on the grass over by the playgrounds and ball fields (which is the more important area of the park)...so....just some guy walking his dog can be told not to park on the dog poop...but....the lawyers and judges and police who have kids playing little league - they can park on grass in the more visible area. Makes no sense - but good place to...

Went here with our dog that needed to get some energy out. It's a great set up that allows dogs to be off leash with room to run and just be a dog. There's both a large grassy area where you can play fetch as well as a 0.8 mile loop on what I assume is the old levee for the name sake Duck Pond, which no longer has any water.

45 minutes here and our puppy was exhausted - mission...

Great park for soccer. Good pavilion and playground too. The only thing that is worth noting is people seem to not clean up after their dogs quite often here. I know the park can only do so much, but maybe more signage or a waste cleanup station for those who are (for some reason) unprepared to clean up their...
