Edited as of June 2025: First, I still love Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream flavors. But ever since there has been a change in ownership at Blue Heaven, I have noticed a price increase and decrease in serving size. For a single scoop in a cup it is $6! So for my husband and I, it was $12 for two small cups of ice cream. It is quite expensive for a small amount of ice cream especially when the scoop size is notably smaller compared to previous ownership. I get that everything is more expensive now and businesses need to make a profit but this seems rather inflated especially when I can go to Daniels and get a gallon of Tillamook ice cream for $8/$9. They have a selection of unusual cones—I had salty pretzel and my husband had chocolate. I never get cones, due to calories, but I had to experience this. I had some type of coffee ice cream with dark chocolate with a scoop of something else, also with chocolate chips. It was divine with the salty cone. The owner, John, was super organized leading up to the event and even had us come into the shop for a tasting to pick out flavors and toppings which we loved!!
