Veterans Park — Attraction in Fontana

Nice size park with 4 or 5 baseball fields and 2 basketball courts. Also there's a few gazebo type sitting areas, with a few benches and lunch type benches. Big open grass where I often see people playing soccer. As far as the playground it's a little outdated and needs to be cleaned. I wouldn't recommend this playground for kids under 6, the ladders and the climb to the big slide are high. I've seen some young kids fall through the ladder. I have seen a few homeless people sleeping at the park, but no where close to the playground. One last thing, the ice cream man stops by every so often, so if you're into that...

Awesome Park for baseball ⚾. Four fields, two little ones and two big ones. A basketball court, large grassy fields. It has a very nice playground. Lots of shady areas. I like this part we often come here and have lunch. I've also barbecued here. Lots of picnic tables and barbecue pits near them. Although you do have to be careful because sometimes when you walk in the bathroom there are people taking a quicky shower other than that...

Great place for the kids to come have fun at the playground, have been coming here for years. As Fontana keeps getting better, so do areas like this. It isn't the Fontana of 20+ years ago, it's a new paradigm as the riff raff leaves to San Berdoo and Hemet, and people don't want to commute from L.A. to Banning, that's too far.
