If you are looking for something to do with your kids for an afternoon, I highly recommend High Falls Water Park. It has 3 sections - a splash pad for younger kids, a really long and fast water slide for older kids and teens (and adults), and a swimming pool, which seems to be mostly used by the adults. They provide lots of chairs, umbrellas, and covered picnic tables. They also have life vest available to use for free. Although they sell concessions, they allow you to bring in food and drinks (no coolers). It's not a huge place (which I think is nice), but there is something for every age group. If you pack a lunch, snacks, and drinks, for $14 per person you can sit back and relax in a chair under an umbrella or in the pool all day while your kids have fun and wear themselves out! It's a win, win! 😁

For me, as a Korean, the experience here was quite mysterious and beautiful. I could not have imagined that I would be able to swim with the American children I saw in movies, swimming and playing. I was also very happy because I felt like I was returning to my childhood. However, What I didn't expect was that Uber wasn't available. Nevertheless, the owner here helped me. They were very warm and friendly. It was very touching to me. I had no idea that someone would help me just for an Asian traveler, but they were willing to help me and it left me with good memories of the country. I want to visit here again next time❤️🫶 The The female owner was really cute🥰

0 stars! I was forced to leave within 30 minutes and $70 entry fee due to a group of guys threatening bullying and hitting my toddler and me defending the kids! We were the only black family present and once we got in the pool people began getting out. When the owner approached us in the parking lot to say the prices I should’ve used that as a reason to leave. I feared for our lives. I wasn’t aware racism at that level exists today! I’ve never experienced anything of that nature in my entire life! So disappointed for the kids to have to go through it! Whites only sign is posted!!!

If I could leave negative 1000 stars I would. My wife and daughter went to the water park today with some family and friends. Things were going great until they weren’t. After my wife and daughter came back from watching her nephew go down the slide they stopped by the pool to talk to their friend as they headed back to the kiddy area. Well my daughter who never leaves our side was playing with her friend and cousin as they were pushing the cousin into the pool (2 feet away from my wife) Which he wanted them to do. My wife was with our daughter the whole time. My wife then tried to get our daughter into the 1ft pool right there and let her stand in it just to show her that it’s okay because she won’t get in water without us and is like Velcro. Anyways, here comes a tan guy with white hair, black shirt and red shorts SCREAMING at my wife and kid in the middle of the water park. He was SCREAMING at them saying that nobody is going to be pushing any one in anymore (which had already stopped) and that we needed to put a life jacket on our kid. He then screamed that the lifeguard couldn’t do his job because he was having to watch my kid along with 3 other workers that couldn’t do their job because they were having to watch my daughter. Which makes no sense when her mother is standing there holding her hand in the 1ft pool that my kid is terrified of and SUPERVISING her the whole time they had been there. Which is one of their pool rules that I will put here.

“All children 10 years and under must be supervised at all times by someone over the age of 16.”

After the altercation several people came over to my wife to console her and share their experiences as well. Apparently this is a pattern for the owner to treat his guest and workers like this.

My wife hurries over to grab her stuff and leave after being humiliated for no reason in front of the whole park. While she was grabbing her stuff her sister went and talked to the lifeguard and said if you had a problem with it why didn’t you say anything to them. To which the lifeguard replied that he didn’t say anything because he didn’t see a problem with what they were doing! But he couldn’t say that in front of the owner while he was screaming because he didn’t want to lose his job. This was the OWNER screaming at his guests with his unruly behavior. Which is another one of his park rules that he broke. See below.

“No loitering, unruly behavior, profanity, vandalism, line cutting or alcohol & drugs”

As they were leaving in tears the sister stopped to talk to the front office as well and that experience wasn’t great either. She pointed out that they knew that was the husband of lady in the front office that was screaming at them. She obviously didn’t give a crap either and didn’t even try to rectify the situation. I’m sure he speaks to his wife that way too because she didn’t seem the least bit surprised. So much for a “Christian owned and operated establishment”. Even if the things they were doing were problems in your eyes this is not how you go about handling the situation or any situation.

We won’t ever be back here to swim again or support this business. I plan on telling everyone I know about the experience they had there today. I will however be up there soon to talk to the owner about this since he likes to scream at women and children (specifically mine) and to get a refund for the day they spent in the park. If you are looking to have a fun day with your family I suggest going somewhere else and supporting businesses that don’t treat their guest like this.

Editing to add that I called the park right after it happened to speak to the owner to which the staff lied and said “he’s not here can I take a message” I told them I knew he was there but they refused to let me talk to him.I knew he was there because our friends hadn’t left yet and still...

Went with my fiancé and my family for our nephews bday. Female lifeguard on duty (older, skinny, short hair) around 7pm watched and laughed at a kid yelling for help bc the life jacket he was wearing (from the water park) flipped him on his back and he couldn’t move. He was calling for anyone to help and my pregnant fiancé had to rush over to him in the water to help bc the lifeguard was literally standing there laughing at this poor child!

It’s a decent little water park but just beware, the lifeguards do not care one bit. They were older and looked like volunteers that just walked into the park. I fail to believe they have any actual training. They’re both older and I have no faith they’d be able to do much. She clearly doesn’t care and the male was older and a little heavier and not really paying attention, either.

My fiancé is a trained lifeguard. It took a lot out of her to not say something bc there were children present. There is no excuse. Please notice before coming here and if you do, WATCH YOUR CHILDREN! Bc the lifeguards clearly won’t!

After reading reviews I’m wondering if they didn’t help bc the child was an African American child. She wasn’t yelling at the white children who were horsing around, but the family of black children of course were told to...

This place is over priced, when there's only two slides and a small pee pool for the older kids. My kids were having fun going down the water slide, ONE time did one of my kids go down on her stomach, as she was walking up to go again some teenage lifeguard girl (about 5'4, dark hair, and has no life) who's about 16, told my (also 16 yo girls) "don't go down like that again or you will sit out.) And was trying to intimidate her. The next time my kid went down when she came back up the owner was up there telling them they couldn't go on there stomachs. She went down on her knees and had been flipped over BECAUSE of the slide. Well the owner started YELLING at her friend saying "I TOLD HER NOT TO DO THAT. AND YOU BETTER NOT DO IT EITHER." As the girls were on the side walk coming back up he followed them to our tables and was mad while he was "trying" not to yell. "These girls are going on there stomachs and they have been multiple times to not do it, KEEP them of MY slides." When they had only been told twice. And one of the girls had on went her stomach ONE time.

Also this place has never been updated, its old, over priced, and not clean. Some of the lifeguards are nice and not rude unlike the owner. but most of the people who work here are rude...
