Jack Mattox Park — Attraction in Fort Oglethorpe

A fun 9 hole disc golf courses with an onsite facility that sells discs (small inventory but great to see the support!) and has a bathroom available during operating hours. Across a small creek/ ditch there's a playground and baseball field that's not in the way of flying discs. A walking trail is weaved around the course but most pedestrians are courteous of players and don't interfere with drives, putts &etc. I wish there were an available restroom during holidays, or evenings but other than that, I really enjoy...

Very nice 9 holes disc golf course for beginners. The pads have the hole number on them but more then often its been washed away so having an app with the holes is convenient. Its not that hard to figure out beside 2 or 3 holes. It is mostly in the very open field so just a few holes with a few trees but nothing major. The park is very clean and the parking lot is a very decent size....

Good fields has concession stand during games and batting cages for practice, has a nice park that my kids love ( baseball themed) the walking path is a good length just under a mile for only around baseball fields and 1.2 around the whole thing, complex also has a 9 hole disc golf course with store and bathrooms to the north, longer walking path goes around.
