Casey Tibbs Rodeo Center Museum — Attraction in Fort Pierre

Many wonderful tributes to many talented cowboys and cowgirls. The photographs are great. The displays such as cowboy clothing and rodeo costumes are still colorful and in great shape. The many different saddles are an interesting display. The two levels of museum displays are easy to get to. Love their gift shop. All South Dakota made except for the Montana silver jewelry. I purchased a necklace with carved feathers made from buffalo bones. The artist is from Eagle Butte. Great place to buy a gift for a special occasion to honor SD made! The parking lot is nice. I like the individual family brands that are burned into the wooden posts as you enter the front entrance. Nice way to pay tribute to the ranchers who developed South Dakota for over 100 years! This is NOT a place that holds rodeos. It's more of a business center. They hold auctions and other things of that sort inside. There are 2 floor levels. Stairs and elevators. Honestly, it seems bigger on the inside than from how it looks on...
