Central Mall Fort Smith — Attraction in Fort Smith

Sadly to those who comment that the mall is bad is sad because it's not .they are adding new stuff everyday and literally upgrading stores to. Some stores have stayed because they are great and get bussinese and others left for better spots and sold their spots inside the mall. Sadly to say that whoever thinks the mall has just books and games your wrong. It's a sweet Bay and two gothic stores and spencers along with fentches store that sells best men's clothes but best not inhale the strong colone they have. And they have food court with new restaurants and even a new food stand that open up along with kids area to play and a small 3 dollar movie theater within the mall rhat opens up at 12 or 4pm everyday. They have several bathrooms and even a area speaicl for mother's to go breast feed their baby's now. They have outside dinning area now and along with several bakery's that make diff stuff and shoes stores book store now have a acrade store open to public. You just walk in and insrer your coins and play. Jc Penny's and Sears and dairy Queen most this stores are now 2018s new open ups they brought in this year. They even got a bike store that sells real motorcycle scooters and crouch rockets inside the mall. Game stop is inside the mall to it's only like one of the 3 game stops in fort Smith. They have sceruty gaurds that patrol inside and outside parking is great they have outdoor and under ground parking. They have escalaters that go up to help those who don't want to take the regular stairrs and even have several machines spread out you go to and can get stuff out of. They have baby clothes stores and even a Bible christain store which I've been to and they have very nice stuff. They have a mother store boys store girls store and romancing the stone store and a phone store. The prices are your average and some a little high and heck they even got a VR new 2018 game you can pay 7 bucks to play and you can pay few bucks to ride these little funny cute animals around the mall for 5 or 10 mins. They have several high priced jewelery stores and phone case stands that have phone cases got great prices and sell the glass covers to I buy from them all the time. They have speaicl events every hoildays like the Easter bunny and and santa clause to. They have huge Xmas tree they put up every Xmas to. They have enter drawings to win stuff daylie and they are spread out threw the mall just have to find them. They have seating for when you get your food and free WiFi and charging ports for people to plug and play with phones and laptops and tablets. And if you report a prop they take care of it right away. The place even has the old coin game in two different places to play to. The place is fine and upstairs they have offices for diff stuff. They even have wedding stores and dienst offices doctors offices and much more .So do not listen to anyone who post up neg post because I go to the mall once a week and every week there is something new. New for everyone. The malco threater huge one across the way is part of the mall just not attached. There's party place and Chucky cheese and several other stores. So everyone who has neg comments need to just keep them...

Don't have a real desire to waste much time on a mall that is old as dirt and has been needing to be updated since back when I was a child and I'm 33 years old now! It's pretty alarming and a big let-down to know that the second largest city in Arkansas can have such a s* mall that looks like s* and that is s* because they have an entire upstairs area, for those that don't know exactly what the upstairs is all about mostly but it's a lot to do with storage or office space for the stores that you visit below that are confined within these tight hallways That You Don't See and that are not visible from shopping downstairs. The only thing that I remember seeing it is actually visible from the downstairs is a space that's occupied by an attorney. There's a lot of space upstairs that could have been more for the retail side of things and that could have been an exciting thing for us in Fort Smith being that there are no balls on this side of the state or anywhere in the state for that matter aside from in Little Rock that are multi-level. This area deserves to have a new mall built in one that actually has a retail presence of more brands that are actually worth having in that want to stay within an environment such as what a new mall would be, that's actually nice to go to and that gives off a better Vibe than the stale old Mall of yesteryear that's been in dire need of an update or refresh, in other words for over a decade. At least Fayetteville got to revamp on their Mall since I was a young child. I don't believe that this mall ever been updated as it looks the same as it did when I used to come here to visit my grandparents when I was a child. They even struggle keeping stores in the mall if you haven't noticed and they generate a lot of Revenue off of lower end b* that they allow the flood in and clog up the center aisles of the walkways to where it's almost turned into what most largest cities would be teaming there...

I was at Dillard's and was treated like a queen! First stop, Shoe Dept.Big Sale, and did I ever get Lucky! My favorite salesman was on the floor and he knows my bad feet and I picked up a pair of shoes just like the ones that I had gotten last time I was in. He said those are way too big for you, I had failed to bring my glasses with me into the store, so he had to walk me around and help me but I, or he(Josh) help me find a steal! Then, he led me to Kim the reason that I came in there for was to buy dainties, and introduced me to her and made me feel comfortable, afterall, she'll be fitting me! All went wonderful and Kim and I are besties, kidding, but she's a doll. If you need a break , ask for Kim, she'll make sure it fits correctly.

Then on to JCP where I bought the store out. I was really tired by then and asked a sales person for help finding a smaller size in a blouse I wanted. She just pointed and told me where to look. I expected a little more help than that, I told her that I was tired, but she just turned away. They need to teach their sales people to be more courteous and helpful...kinda like the people...
