Diamond Center — Attraction in Fort Smith

Not what I was expecting...

My husband and I have spent the past couple years planning things we wanted to do to commemorate our 20th wedding anniversary this year, one of which was to “upgrade” my ring. I had looked a lot at Pinterest and other places online for inspiration but hadn’t really found exactly what I was looking for.

On a whim one day, he suggested we run by the Diamond Center and just talk to them about some options. I was somewhat dreading this because of past experiences at other places where it was uncomfortable or people came across bothered or pushy.

I can’t say enough about how different and amazing the experience has been with this company. Beyond a simple transaction, this experience has been more than I had ever hoped.

From the moment you walk in the door, their hospitality demonstrates the level of thoughtfulness and warmth the team has. We sat down and talked. Like real people. Not like someone trying to pressure me to make a decision.

Bheyleigh has been our main point of contact, and she really listened to what I wanted. I left that day having seen several options, but not feeling like I had found the one. She reassured me that she would help plan out exactly what I wanted and shared that we could exchange ideas or questions etc. over text any time.

On a Sunday evening I sent over a few pictures as inspiration and asked some questions. I liked the micro pave’ look but had some concerns around how well the setting would hold. Bheyleigh responded back that evening with her thoughts and sent a band example that solved for my concerns. I was blown away by not only the after hours response but the thoughtfulness that was included.

I could go on and on... they ordered my stone and put it in a temporary setting at no charge to me so I could wear it until my bands came in. They called me on a Friday evening to say they were getting it set right away and wanted to know how they could meet me before I went on vacation that next week so I could have it then and allowed me to come in early on a Saturday to pick it up. My bands came in a week early, and they set them the same day I brought my ring in.

This team really, truly has gone above and beyond at every interaction, been highly responsive, and has been genuinely warm this entire time. They are excited with you throughout the process, they listen, and they remember. Bheyleigh has been exceptional and treated us with a concierge approach I have rarely seen anywhere, much less the Fort Smith area.

This was not at all what I expected when I walked in the door that first day. The attention to detail, thoughtfulness, responsiveness etc.... not all customers may notice the amount of effort and energy it takes to create such a great experience. But my husband and I do, and we are customers for life.

Immediately felt judged and looked over when entering the building. The employee seemed hesitant to even acknowledge my existence. I came to visit from a recommendation to this establishment. I also had visited the website to ensure that they buy gold and diamond items.

And under "services" it does indeed say "gold and diamond buying" and I quote

"We will buy your old gold, silver and platinum jewelry, as well as gold and silver coins, flatware and tea sets. We will evaluate your jewelry while you watch and tell you the value of what you have. If you decide to sell, we will write you a check on the spot. We pay the absolute highest prices and have an unmatched reputation for honesty and integrity."

However, the employee seemed annoyed that I even asked if they would look at a vintage wedding ring set that I got appraised and wanted to sell. And he told me that they do not buy anything at all. And that he would have to talk to his boss about why the website claimed they did.

So, I said thank you and left.

Needless to say, I won't be returning for any other services despite the recommendation from friends. Sorry if my tattoos and bright hair offended the atmosphere of such a fine establishment. Maybe fix your website as it is false advertising to the general public who isn't rich enough to enter...

Back in May of 2020 my Mom was at a point where she was ending her journey in life and she gave me my piece of jewelry I was to inherit. It was an exceptional beautiful diamond necklace that belonged to her Mom then her. I particularly don't care for a necklaces so I asked my Mom if she would care if I turned it into a ring? She didn't care she just wanted it worn,(she didn't like Jewrey laying around). I went to the Diamond Center and showed them the piece and what I desired to do with it. They was so excited to help take a memorable necklace and create a new piece for me. Knowing the situation was time sensitive with Mom they spoke with jeweler and he decided to set everything aside to get my ring completed before she passed so she could see it. Within less then a week I had it and Mom and I was not disappointed by any means it was far more beautiful then expected!! Mom left other Jewrey that we have entrusted with The Diamond Center to fix, repair, or recreate and they did it with such love and care for something that meant so much to us as her daughters. I also have purchased earrings and a necklace for my daughter since then and plan on continuing to see what I can buy next. Bayleigh has went above and beyond to give us the best customer service ever. I would and have recommended Diamond...
