Background: 30 yo, skating for 15+ years.
Overall: Not easily seen from the main road, I had to go in through the sport complex entrance to finally find it. GREAT overhangs to catch some shade and stay cool in the summer. No water fountain immediately accessible. Decent park for any skate level, esp. for bowl skaters.
BOWL: Medium in size with two depths (I would guess 5-6 ft and 8-9 ft. I'm not a bowl skater but it seems great. Well waxed, but crusty, concrete curbs. Smooth concrete inside.
STREET PARK: Small to medium size. Crusty concrete ground with cracks, mostly patched over though with bondo. A few patches of the ground are made with the gravel filled concrete, the worst kind for skating. Decent round bar, perfect height for casually skating and learning new tricks. 2 great boxes/manny pads, however the copings were made using sharp angle irons that I personally don't like. All of the ramps are prefab metal... The surface is painted and surprisingly not overly slippery... however, I won't be testing it.
Conclusions: Bring water, esp if you have kids. Be ready to tear up your board (deck, trucks, wheels...) b/c everything is crusty. If the ground was smoother with less cracks, I would enjoy the street park more. This won't be a go-to park for me but I'll...
Read morePool is sick AF. Fast, fun, and coping slides nicely. I found a couple coping gaps that felt sketchy. I thought one was about to trip me up (royale on blades) but...no harm no foul. Pool is going to be for more advanced skaters. Even lowering a smaller kid into the shallow end might be a little dangerous considering the drop to the deep. Street section I feel is the opposite for smaller kids. Plenty of space. Tons of smaller ledges and rails all spaced nicely. There is also more advanced ramps, wall rides, and other various things thrown in. I feel like the box jump is one of the best around here. You get a roll in on one side and bowl hip on the other. The box itself allows for huge air. Lovely pop on that thing. There is a spine next to it, also really fun. I did not have my skateboard but the pyramid style hip looked really fun. I saw some dudes popping some great flip tricks on it. Very much enjoyed this park. ...
