This dog park is like a dog fight club. Been here over 20 times and atleast half of those times dogs have shown real aggresion and/or fought. Unfortunately my German Shepered was pretty brutally attacked when he was still a pup, (three inch deep wound in his side). The big dogs have to prove their "dominance" here which sounds silly but seems very apparent here. Going here occasionaly is fine but I would heavily recommend against it as a regular dog park or park for typically "dominant" dogs such as guard dogs. Read moreMy 2 labs and I try to go every morning and they are so excited every time on the way. It's a good size, not too big, but plenty of room for the dogs to run and play. My 2 are always focused on the Chuck it balls but have lots of opportunity to socialize. There are plenty of water bowls which we fill with jugs of water we bring. There are now 4 seats for sitting, 2 of which are covered. The 2 new ones are in the middle of the figure 8 and more water bowls are there. More shaded areas would be nice, maybe more trees. All in all, it's been a great addition to Fountain Creek...
Read moreI was initially only aware of the enclosed park until we ventured beyond it and found the rough hiking path. lots of under brush and fallen trees that my pups enjoy walking thru or over. there's also a creek along the path with evidence of wildlife (specifically beavers and ducks) that eventually opens up to allow access to soak their toes in. I wouldn't recommend walking thru with sandals as the area with the water is in need of trash and debris clean up but it's a quick cool off...
