This particular trailhead is advertised as being great for kids. As a result we saw a decent amount of families bringing their kids to this trail. We did as well. It is less than one mile each way, and is not technically challenging. But on a warm day, practically every smaller child had to be carried by their parents once reaching about 3/4 of the way to the small lake at the top.
