UPDATE AS RESPONSE TO "OWNER".. I am guessing you are probably the rude lady that doesn't know how to put her phone down to greet a paid customer based on your condescending back handed "apology".
A. Of course you rely on mother nature to get paid. However, your site specifically states "no refund for any reason". Happy to have actually gotten one. but when the rain came through at 10am. Those that purchased for the 1pm session could have gotten a courtesy call.
B. People were not refunded AND allowed to play as you state. It was all slush and the park was closed. According to the woman "Someone ruined it for everyone" No clue what that even means but, hey its your business, not mine.
C. It did end up being a GREAT day for us! Even though the lady said there was no snow else where..... Nordic, Snow bowl....Local parks. etc.
D. FACT: Sheriffs department were actually observing and supervising so many families off the HWY 180 corridor that day. No tickets were issued and many people helped get towed out after having a great time!
E. Glad you ASSUME we parked off the HWY180 corridor. Not the case but, nice try! We know the law....You never know what companies or departments people work for....Please consider who you maybe talking to out of company dress, if in fact you remember who i am.
"-F" For customer service. Please tell your staff how to greet a prepaid customer. it looks incredibly bad for our older generations to have their noses shoved into their phones. We already have enough of that in our world and the older generations should be setting an example for families and children who approach them.
ORIGINAL REVIEW..... Horrible! We drove 3 hours to play in the snow. The park was all slush. When "greeted" buy a gray haired lady. She couldn't put her personal phone down while asking "how can she help us"
I wasn't sure if she was on a phone or video call or if she was talking to me. So I stood there. And waited. Then she talked to me like I was an idiot. We weren't able to get a refund. Had to send an email and wait.
The slush was from a storm that swept through early.in the morning our play time wasn't scheduled until 1:30pm. Not sure why the company didn't call to let people know the park would be closed for the afternoon sessions.
When I asked the lady if there were snow play elsewhere she said they were the ONLY place with snow. I was a little surprised by this.
We drove 20 more minutes north and guess what? Snow! For free.....to play in. Imagine that!
Spent another 35.00 on sleds but hey, at least we know where to go and have sleds of our own...
Read moreHave been here a couple of times. This past weekend, I was at the bottom of what I think was the red run. After watching a few runs a staff member (super young) placed down a rubber mat (think commercial kitchen with the holes where chefs stand and cook) just where the run started to level off. The next person down was a full grown man and when his tube hit the mat it flipped over and his head bounced off the run twice. He laid there. I walked over to see if he was ok. He got up and held his head. He was dazed and in pain. I mentioned to the young staff member they may want to call for a manager to come and help.
The rider exited the run and someone came over to talk to him. That staff member who came to talk to him departed the conversation less than 30-seconds after engaging the customer. That customer came over and sat down at the bench next to me. I asked if he was ok. He said he wasn't sure and to add insult to injury, the 'manager' that came to speak to him said that they signed a waiver and there's nothing they can do against the park. WOW!
My group moves over to the green run (?) next to the one where the accident just happened. The runs are parallel to one another. 5 riders later I'm at the bottom of the hill and bam! A grown adult male rider goes down because of a mat AGAIN! The staff member at the bottom walks over and asks if the rider is ok. Rider says he thinks so. Staff member says, "Good. The guy on the other course wanted a manager" and then he laughed.
You won't catch me there ever again and I hope one of the other two are taking things further. I told everyone I could about this the...
Read moreI absolutely love this place! I think is affordable and I love the environment. However I think there is a few things that need improvement. I've been coming to this place for the past 3 years. I have been able to slide down the big runs with my son (now 4). This year however I climbed all the way up the hill, stood in line for 20 minutes and was told I couldn't go down with a my son in the same tube. The kid in charge suggested I had to go ho back down the way I came. There was no space for me go thru, it was packed with people and tubes. After I explained this he walked down the run and grabbed me an extra tube and walked back up and said "when you get down please get out of the way asap" like if I was stupid. That was condescending. However later I witness a guy was able to slide down with his dog on the same tube. Go figure, I guess they allow animals in the same tube but not small children with a parent. Also, we were not able to slide down on our facing down on the tube like we used to, why? You guys wouldn't have any liability if there is an accident. That's what the waiver is for. The kidds hill is a mess. You guys need to hire more staff. Parents dont have common sense to get their kids out of the way, they let them chill there for minutes. I saw kids sliding down with no tube. You need to hire someone to put order. The lines were huge because of lack of staff and unoppen runs. Ppl left a lot of tubes at the end one run which shorten it, and no one in staff came to put order. For the amount of people who come to your park and the price you charge I think you can hire more employees. Other than that I had a good...
