I was to busy eating lunch and enjoying the fish swimming around I forgot to get a good picture of upper Mohawk Lake but I got a nice shot of lower and surrounding views. Honestly Lower is the nicer looking lake but Upper is only maybe 10-15 minutes further so it’s worth it.

Beautiful hike. From the lower Mohawk, stay on the left along the shore line, climb up and kind of make your own trail to the top. It takes another 20 mins to get to the upper lake. Trail is hard to find I had to ask people as they heading down.

Extremely popular weekend hike in Breckenridge. It’s a beautiful alpine lake, but get ready to hike with throngs of people. Oh yeah, and the fishing is fun at the upper lake.

My wife and I did this several years ago and insisted our daughters follow us up this year. First 2/3s is pretty easy. The climb up to the first lake is steep and not well marked, or rather there's a hundred ways 'til Sunday to get up there. Lower lake is beautiful but continue around it up to Mohawk. The approach to Mohawk is worth the entire hike. There are several lakes beyond Mohawk, but we've never done those....
