Party Express Rental — Attraction in Framingham

they rented out my stuff to someone else, told me a day before my event, and had the audacity to get mad at me!!!

i had ordered some party stuff with them 2 weeks prior to the event and a day before my party, an hour before i was going to leave to pick up the stuff they text me saying they don’t have some of my things anymore because they can’t find it and think they rented it out to someone else. they started to give me different options that didn’t work at all with what i had rented and we had a back and forth because they only told me this not even 24hours before my party. i told them that i wanted to cancel my order and get my money back and they got hostil towards me saying “ é bonitinha, você nem deu tempo pra nós resolver” which directly translates to “it’s cute that you didn’t even give us time to resolve it” in a rude tone. like really? what was there to resolve? you didn’t have the stuff i needed, the party was early the next day, and i needed the decor that they didn’t have because they rented it to someone else. they weren’t professional at all, didn’t say “sorry for renting out the stuff you had paid and rented out weeks before”, and still thought they had the right to get mad at me...

I have nothing bad to say about this store and the girls!! I have been renting the decoration for a few years and have never had any problems, nor have my friends and family who I have referred over the years. The girls were always friendly, happy and helpful during the rental service and after I returned the decorations. Always ready to help whenever I need it. Furthermore, the decorative pieces are always in good condition and new, which is difficult to maintain due to the amount of use. I've had problems with other calls where I've rented decor items that were delivered dirty, but I've never had this problem with Party Express Rental. They also have a space behind the store to rent for events which I fell in love with, especially children's parties. It's the perfect space for a birthday party!!

I bought some baking molds from this online store and unfortunately the size of the product was not compatible with what I needed. I contacted the store to find out how I could send the product back and get my money back. They said that it was not possible to return my money and that if I was interested I could go to the physical store to choose another product. This is absurd. I am not entitled to a refund, and the store is in another state, so I would have to wait more than 3 hours to buy another product and run the risk of still not liking it.
