I did not go to this establishment for a banquet or celebration, so I cannot comment on that. My friend and I went to the monthly Montgomery County Coin Show for September.
PRO'S: Plenty of parking. Handicapped accessible parking and entry. Friendly, helpful staff.
ONE CON: GPS brought us to another place with the EXACT same address. When we were told "You have arrived at your destination", it was nothing but houses. It turned out we were several miles away in the opposite direction, but on the correct road. Now that we know where it's at, we won't make the same mistake next time. But this could be a problem for someone having an event there and guests get lost because there's multiple places with the exact same address which are not differentiated with N, S, E, W or anything. My friend used Google Maps on his phone and I used Waze on mine...Both apps directed us to the wrong place first. This place is actually the 2nd or 3rd option that pops up, not the 1st.
HELPFUL STAFF: My friend is in a wheelchair. A friendly staff member saw me getting him out of the car and came outside to help us into the building, then showed us where to go since we'd never been there before. When we left, security escorted us out of the building directly to our car and patrolled the parking lot to make sure everyone got to their vehicles safely. This was good, considering the vendors had expensive merchandise to protect and some were likely carrying quite a bit of cash. They made sure everyone got packed up and on their way without any trouble.
The space we were in was the perfect size for the coin show and could also work well for a smaller celebration/gathering. I don't know how the rest of the building looks or what their banquet services or restaurant is like, so cannot...
Read moreThe last time I visited this restaurant, we were coming back from an outdoor event and we were starving. We wanted to get something to eat before arriving home. We stopped here. We were greeted at the podium, everything seemed great. Staff at this point were fabulous. We were seated to the left in what appears to be the smaller dining area with a counter. We sat waiting for 20 minutes while we watch numerous waiters and waitresses just passing us by. We were never asked if we wanted drinks, after 25 minutes , we got up, took the menus back to the podium and went to a restaurant down the street where we werent invisible. We haven't been back to this...
Read moreWe had a post funeral luncheon and it was excellent. Janet and Noel took care of us, communicating all of the details of Covid rules, handing out gloves for when we served ourselves and had hand sanitizer out as well. They served us when we were ready, so we had plenty of time for gathering and the prayer. The food was very good. We chose the hot buffet, and it was served hot and delicious. I had the beef brisket, which was juicy and tender. We used the wifi to zoom with distant relatives. The whole luncheon went smoothly, and we will return on...
