I routinely buy Marcho veal cutlets and have been satisfied with the quality. This week, I bought veal for stew - two 1 lb packages - a little over 2 pounds total.. I am very disappointed with what was hidden under the packaging. The pieces with a couple exceptions were very small, very thin and covered with silver skin and fat. By the time I had finished cleaning up the bad butchery, I was left with less than 1 1/2 pounds of meat, much of it in pieces too small and thin (think postage stamp) to cook properly. I had one question regarding a product but was met with horrible attitude not only from him but also the receptionist answering their phones. It’s a shame, because they lost a potential customer who buys large volumes of veal all because of (primarily) one miserable salesman. Their “sales” department needs to re-evaluate how they speak to people, otherwise they’re in the wrong business. I wish I had an option...
