The peak of Cannon Mountain also provides access to interesting hiking trails. During our visit, we took a trail to an Observation Tower that you can climb to the top. You can also take the Rim Trail that goes along the edge of a cliff with stunner views all around! its short walk goes to the observation deck and a short trail will cover the loop to the tramway station.

Nice trail, short walk but scenic place. Thrilling to see from top. Amazing view. Check weather before going there since weather changes drastically. I feel this trail little risky at some points because they dont have guardrails, so while going with family and kids be careful. This trails further goes to observation point which is again...

Incredible views, though I must admit there were some spots on the trail I felt were too close to the edge to really enjoy. Maybe skip this one if you don't like heights. Aside from that, it really is a sight to behold. At 4,080 ft, you can see for miles on a clear day and the view is unbeatable. Best views of the Notch...
