Observation Tower — Attraction in Franconia

After hiking on top of the cannon through the aerial tramway, have some coffee at 4080 cafes, relax, and then hike the rim trail. It's a short 15-minute trail to the observation deck. you need to climb 3 stories height stairs to reach the top. on a clear day, you can see part of Canada (if you figure out where it is :P ), and neighboring states. I just took this opportunity to take some zoom-in fall photos.

A must stop at the peak of Canon mountain. On a nice day you can see the entire region including great views of mt Lafayette. There are stairs to go up so no accessible route to the observation deck. You'll most likely come from the mountain station following a short looping trail. It can be a bit windy up...
