Updated 6/20/23 The park is in severe disarray. They go through the trouble of putting down new mulch and cutting the grass, but that's it. There's trash and graffiti all over and the play equipment is broken, rusted and full of caution tape & jagged edges. (See photos) Sadly, we won't be returning anytime in the near future - - - Nice open field! Just wish they would at least but some kind of cones or tape around the collapsing storm drain as the hole is rather wide and deep. Park was relatively clean when we visited (minus goose poo). Play equipment is older, so some shouldn't be used mid summer with the beating sun. Overall it's a nice park to sit and enjoy nature. You can fish, launch a boat and do some birding!

Used to come here as a little kid, about 9 years ago I was able to bring my kids when they were younger. It was great then. Able to swing in lake, go on trail walks, kayak, small non motorized boat, they had a lifeguard on duty, upkeep was beautiful. Now a days it's run down, unkept, Not ALOUD TO SWIM IN LAKE, , goose poop everywhere literally EVERYWHERE, so sad that a lake with the beautiful surroundings that it has cant fully be enjoyed. I will say as long as it's not extremely hot the park is tolerable. My now 4 year old don't seem to mind going to this playground

Wonderfully peaceful. There is a nice sandy road (nice by walking definitions, not driving unless you have a truck) you can walk along. Largely quiet. Beautiful views of the lake and peaceful sounds of wind blowing through countless pine trees. Occasional bird song. Seems like it'll be great for passerine migration.

It is a very nice park, you can take walks in the woods on the trails(on the right side of the park) have bbq's , there is a place for kids to play. I had my birthday party there. There is plenty of space to play corn hole or whatever you like. You could easily spend the day there. Oh, they also have a port a potty there, I believe its handicapped accessible. Since its grass and some sand, it may or may not be hard to push a wheelchair, depending who's pushing. The grills need a...
