Gecko's Island Adventures — Attraction in Frederiksted

This was hands down a great tour from start to finish ! First the owner called two days before our tour to inform us of some mechanical issues and we would have to double up. I appreciated the heads up especially because she didn’t have to say anything so far in advance . She gave us options to cancel or double up and also started the refund process before we got there. The day before the tour we happened to be at rainbow beach and it’s close to there so we stopped by and I got out to inquire about how things were going. I was met by Peyton (don’t know if that’s the correct spelling) but she was so sweet and professional she even person asked the mechanic about his progress and took my name and number and gave it to her mother to call me back later. I was so impressed by her work ethic and intelligence because she’s only 11 years old. The tour itself was fantastic Cynthia wasn’t formative and straight up she was wonderful as well. We felt comfortable and for sure got our monies worth. The trail was the best. It started on the road and then through the jungle we made 3 stops and got enough time for pictures and historical facts! Then Brenna (owner’s daughter 9) came and took pictures without being asked made small talk and even told us about refreshments for dale back at the shop. The oldest daughter Cadence was so sweet and kept up with everyone on the tour. She drove behind us to make sure everyone felt secure and could keep up. This was a really cool and different activity to do while we were visiting St Croix. Nick was our guide and he was phenomenal. They take photos of you while you are riding so you don’t really need to bring your camera with, although I still did with a waterproof case and had it securely strapped to me. The tour goes up into the rainforest and has lots of beautiful views along the way. Nick had a great personality, was very friendly and took some pretty great action shots of us on the ATV. Neither of us had driven an ATV before so we took 1 ATV out and my husband drove – Nick was very patient and gave us good instructions on the more difficult parts of the trail and even offered to drive it during some portions if we were not comfortable doing it ourselves. Nick was able to give us some very interesting history of the sugar mills and we were able to go into one of the older ones on the top of one of the mountains. Gecko's Island Adventures deserves more than five stars! We made reservations but mistakenly saved the wrong time. When they called to check in, everything was clarified, and we realized we were extremely late. Despite this, they welcomed us warmly and allowed us to enjoy the remaining portion of our reservation without hesitation.

Nick was an incredible guide—informative, patient, and focused on safety. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable operating the ATVs, even capturing some amazing photos and video footage for us! It was our daughters' first time riding ATVs, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. The tour was the perfect combination of adventure, mud, stunning scenery, and pure fun.
