Fremont Area District Library — Attraction in Fremont

I Have to say I have never been treated so rudly over my Autistic son before. The woman on the phone that I spoke to regarding my son making this his home library very mater of factly said " we have had so many problems with his account that we have made a decission and we are sticking to it"." If he chooses to use another library he may". This is all over him being allowed with my full permission to use his library card and mine. Never once have I received an email or phone call about such "problems" usually if there is a problem with a person with disabilities that there you first discuss with the patron if you see they obviously don't understand maybe you should reach out to the parent or guardian, to help make the person understand. Well as of Now you no longer have to deal with my son, he will not step one foot in your Library again for any reason to give you so many "problems" strange how it is the first time I hear of this and have never heard such things from any other library In the state of Michigan. Anyone reading this and has or knows someone with disabilities who may enjoy movies,music, and books. May not want to use this facility. I guarantee my son and I will not and hopefully...

I asked for help as I'm new to the city, asked where a section was but apparently they use broad categories so it's makes it much harder to find what you want. Asked for help as I was overwhelmed and she grudgingly helped and was overall rude and acted like helping me was an annoyance. She wasn't busy she was just sitting there. When I asked her what she liked most she acted like since I like fantasy I wouldn't like other genres and her response was condescending as if just because I like fantasy I couldn't possibly like something else. I hadn't been in here for quite awhile. It is really keeping up with the times! Updated technology but still endorsement of feeling the paper between your fingers (which is my choice). This is a very clean facility, with nice meeting rooms & convenient location of bathrooms! I understand that they have a robust summer schedule for community activities!
