Honest review from a fat guy. My first time here. Pros: Restaraunt side/bar side. Great atmosphere. Our server was attentive and polite. Fried pickle chips were delish! Waffle&Chicken w/bacon sliders were SO good! Restaraunt side was roomy with a LARGE projection on wall tv. Tigers game was life size! Spacious parking in rear of building! (Gps takes you to the front which has limited parking) ***rear entrance is stairs only! Fries are shoestring style and crispy. Only 2 meals and an appetizer (no drinks) but they were both good (artery clogger burger. No complaints). 2 pool tables. Ample playing room. Cons: Bar side is a smidge small. The rear entrance will all the parking is stairs only. I have never entered in the front so i do not know about wheel chair access. (Please call ahead). No complaints. Cool name, i believe they have tshirts for sale. Check it out.

This place was amazing. (I never give 5* unless I've been more than once with similar experiences each time, but I almost broke my rule here.) Very relaxed atmosphere. Interesting good. The Carnivore Tots were crispy and flavorful, not soggy at all. My boyfriend had the Drunken Rooster and it definitely didn't disappoint. I always try to pick things from new places you don't see every day so I chose the PBB & J Burger (peanut butter, bacon, grape jelly, potato chips) I figured it would work or not but either way I went all in. And glad I did. SO much flavor. I didn't snap a picture though because I think this one is more... Something to be experienced than described. I don't think I could do it justice anyhow. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We're from about an hour or so away but definitely worth the drive to come back some day.

I've had better. This was my first time at the Blind Squirrel. It seems like a fun place to go and watch sports or hang out with friends. There is little to no privacy when it comes to seating, so if there are a lot of people in there, it's very loud. The service left something to be desired. I ordered the Jalapeño Burger well done. It was far from well done, but by the time we got our food, I decided to bite the bullet. The Cajun fries are delicious, but for the price, you don't get a lot of bang for your buck. They have a large menu, and it may be worth exploring. Just be prepared to spend $20 per person.

I use to LOVE this restaurant - would visit often when I was in town and was never disappointed. Up until yesterday evening, our waitress butchered my order and I wasn't able to enjoy my meal with my family. Waitresses name was Sarah, we had a party of 5 and spent over $120 on our bill. I ordered a burger with fries, in place of the chips, and the fries came on my burger instead of as a side. My fries didn't come out until after we were done eating out meal. The waitress also told us the specials, one was a side of fresh asparagus. I ordered that since I clearly wasn't going to enjoy fries with my burger. My sister got the asparagus with her fish as she ordered. And I got a side of mixed veggies!! Which contained no asparagus, why would the waitress tell me about the asparagus but bring out something totally different. I realize it may not have been her fault, she probably wrote the order wrong and the kitchen staff misread it. They were a tad busy. I did enjoy my burger once I took the 4 French fries that were on there off. My family members enjoyed their meals though, so it wasn't a total bomb. Also, we love the arcade room, but could you please finally get rid of the beanie babies out of the claw machines. It is a waste of money because the claw can't pick up the nostalgic beanie...

Overcharged! ⚠️ PSA: Double-check your bill before paying.

I usually have an amazing experience at this restaurant. The unique menu options are a big draw—American nachos and the Jasadilla are two of my absolute favorites. The staff is consistently wonderful, and the kitchen delivers every time.

But this visit? Management dropped the ball.

When I received my bill, I noticed that every single item was priced higher than what the menu stated. I politely asked my waitress about the discrepancy, and she explained that the restaurant is in the process of rolling out a new menu with price increases. However, the new menu hasn’t been implemented yet, and they don’t even have copies of it available. Despite that, their POS system is already charging the updated prices.

She apologized sincerely and said she couldn’t adjust the charges to match the current menu because she didn’t have access to the new pricing details. I don’t fault her or the kitchen—they were both excellent. But this lack of transparency from management is unacceptable.

Charging customers more than the listed prices without notice feels dishonest and left a sour taste after what should’ve been...

This place is AWESOME! Mostly!

It's a great, family-friendly pub. I've paid this place many visits, as they often make the best of their ingredients actually bought at GFS. Sometimes, it's genuinely hard to tell.

The menu is adventurous and a bit intimidating in many cases, but altogether quite pleasant. Some of the more intimidating items are actually very good, I'm told, but I mostly stick with what I know here.

That said, the staff is fairly hit-or-miss. Some of the folks in the kitchen do a fantastic job, and some of them give you a TON of salt on your fries. Some waitresses are attentive, friendly, and focused, but some of them are airheaded and will misunderstand half of your order.

I dunno if they add something to their ketchup before putting it into the bottle, but that stuff is extra fruity and sweet, and it's really hard to appreciate.

Still, this place likes to host awesome events weekly and on many special occasions and holidays. Keep this place marked on your list...
